TOKEN IS THE name of the newest project by the people behind The R.A.G.E. (Record-Art-Game Emporium) on Fade Street and it looks unlike anything else in Dublin at the moment.

It’s a bar, restaurant and arcade combined and it doesn’t appear to do anything by halves. The bar has 21 taps, the menu has a variety of burgers, tacos, hot dogs, salads, all of which will have vegan options too.
All of the food will be made to order, so they’re prepared to cater to anyone who wants to make any changes to their orders if you like things simple.
During the funding stages, Token made it very clear that they want to offer an inclusive venue. That means that despite their huge bar, if you choose not to drink alcohol or choose not to eat there, it won’t compromise your experience.

They have a huge variety of arcade and pinball machines.
Here are a couple of titles (they plan on adding more along the way):
They’ve got everything from Mortal Kombat 2 to The Simpsons to Crazy Taxi. That’s not even counting the pinball machines.

It’s about as nostalgic as you can get.
The inside of the tables in the restaurant are even lined with Goosebumps books.
Token opens tonight in what they’re referring to as their public Beta launch. All food dishes, along with beer and wine will be available and all of the arcade cabinets will be up and running on the ground level.
They have an events room for community events and a craft brew bar, but that won’t be opening until later in the beta launch. They’ll be open daily from 4pm-11.30pm and until midnight on weekends.

They’ve spent a lot of time getting this place together and previously had a Kickstarter to help fund a renovation that would make the entire building wheelchair accessible.
The total capacity of the place is 225, but at the moment they’re more concerned with making sure everyone has space to breathe and have a good time rather than trying to pack out the place, which is pretty sound but means that you need to just make a quick booking via OpenTable before you head down.

So if you’re looking for somewhere new to hang out, get something to eat or even go on a date, Token looks extremely promising. They’re even going to host competitive eating contests once a month if that’s your thing.
